How Much Does Gastric Bypass & LAP-BAND Cost?
The cost of gastric bypass surgery and LAP-BAND surgery varies depending on where you are getting the procedures performed. For example, Texas gastric bypass costs may be less than Florida surgery costs. Another factor that causes the gastric bypass price to fluctuate would be if you are paying through your insurance company or if you are paying with cash. Our Texas prices are less expensive when you pay with cash.

LAP-BAND & Gastric Bypass Cost with Insurance Plans
We accept many private insurance plans and will arrange out-of-network benefits if available. You are responsible for deductibles and co-pay amounts as outlined in your policy.

LAP-BAND & Gastric Bypass Cost with Cash
For those patients who want to pay cash for the procedure, a discounted package rate is available that includes surgeon and assistant fees, hospital and anesthesia charges. All fees must be paid at the time of pre-op. Financing options are available, please call our office for more information.

LAP-BAND system surgery (for cash only)

• Plan A (Recommended): $12,900 covering surgery and one year of follow up including as many office visits and fills as needed.
• Plan B: $11,900 covering surgery and 3 fills

Gastric bypass surgery cost (for cash only)

• $17,400 covering surgery (includes surgeon, assistant fees, anesthesia charges) and hospital costs for up to 3 hospital nights.

• Fees do not include preoperative office visits, pre-op testing or treatment in the event of complications.
